Bridging Futures is offering an exciting new alternative provision hub that brings together education and therapeutic support to help children and young people overcome barriers to learning. Built on attachment-informed and trauma-informed practice, we believe that strong, trusting relationships are the foundation for positive change. When children feel safe, understood and valued, they are far more able to engage, grow and succeed.

Opening in October 2026, our specialist hub has been developed for children and young people experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), trauma (including school-based trauma), anxiety, emotional wellbeing needs, attendance difficulties, transition and reintegration, as well as Children in Care, Previously Looked-After Children, adopted children, those living under Special Guardianship Orders and in kinship care. Between us, we bring many years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people, and we understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every child is different, so every package of support is carefully designed around their individual strengths, needs and aspirations.

Working alongside mainstream schools, families and other professionals, we offer bespoke education and therapeutic packages that can include learning within our hub, outreach support, home visits, school visits and transition work. This flexible approach allows us to meet young people where they are, helping to reduce barriers, rebuild trust and create the right conditions for learning and personal growth.

Whether a young person needs support to successfully reintegrate into mainstream education, a carefully planned transition, or a personalised programme that combines education and therapeutic intervention, we work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our focus is always on helping children and young people develop confidence, resilience and a genuine belief in their own potential.
